Artist's Description
The sky is made of hand made dyes. Round buttons dot the sky. I made the clay ornament in the middle. Other fabrics are batiks and hand dyes. Sticks are painted chop sticks. Other embellishments are created with beads, hand stitching with hand dyed threads. Machine and hand quilting, hand embroidery.
About Vivian Aumond
I am blessed to live in the midst of nature; its beauty inspires me each day with the changing of the seasons, the leaves turning colors and the animals that wander through the fields. My art can be quiet and thought-provoking or wild and colorful. I enjoy adding a variety of beads, buttons and found objects on my mixed media fiber pieces.
